Two years ago, students from Scandinavian Languages and Literature and Comparative Literature at Arts took the initiative to jointly run an online literary journal called Littuna, which was intended to reflect the students' interest in literature.

Since then the project has grown steadily, so that today they have a team of dedicated writers behind the online journal. The team says that by throwing themselves over the project, they found a hitherto untapped potential in their academic knowledge.

And at the same time, with a relaunched version of the online journal, they have now created the forum outside of the classroom that they felt was lacking, where the students can reflect on – and not least discuss – literature.

The desire to create a platform for literary knowledge sharing has been the focal point of the design of the relaunched site.

As well as reviews, analyses, essays, interviews and reports written by the students, each issue also includes a column and a debate forum to discuss current literary issues.

Last but not least, there is a diary of academic and social literary events such as book clubs, theme nights and academic presentations by students.

All in the hope that it will help to create the basis for a more active academic study environment among the literature study programmes, while also strengthening the programme’s internal community founded on a passion for good literature.
