University election 2013: Did you vote in the university election last year?

Omnibus asked four AU students.

Nanna Arabi,
a third-semester student of political science

“Yes I did, although mostly out of a sense of duty. I just don’t think you’ve got the right to be dissatisfied unless you vote. And that’s why I’ll be voting again this year.”

Betina Jensen,
a seventh-semester student of theology

“I didn’t vote last year, but I have voted in the past. I missed it last year because I had no idea it was happening. I’ll be voting this year because I’ve been talking to you now.”

Morten Norstrøm,
a first-semester student of marketing and management communication

“I expect I’ll vote this year if I know enough about the issues involved. But I didn’t know there was an election coming up. It won’t make any sense to vote if I know nothing about what’s at stake.”

Rasmus Nielsen,
a seventh-semester student of Scandinavian language and literature

“No. I’m afraid I didn’t vote last year. I was so busy that I simply forgot all about it. But I plan to vote this year.”

Nicolai de Vries,
a first-semester student of educational sociology

“I might vote. I actually hadn’t heard about it until now. I expect I’ll hear a bit more about it nearer to the date – I’ll make my decision then.”
