Sådan fordeler heatene sig til årets Kapsejlads
Til udtrækningsfesten i fredags i Klubben blev det afgjort, hvordan fordelingen af de tre indledende heats i den 35. udgave af Kapsejladsen tager sig ud, når arrangementet løber af stablen 25. april.
With just over a month to go, this year's Regatta is fast approaching. Meanwhile, the party committees are training vigorously by the lake in University Park to perfect their Regatta skills.
On Friday, at the Udtrækningsfest at the Friday bar Klubben, it was decided how the first part of the battle for the coveted Golden Bedpan trophy will unfold for this year’s 12 competing committees.Udtrækningsfesten is the party held in connection with the Regatta, where the teams are drawn, and the heats and lanes are decided for the big race.
The final consists of the winners from the three preliminary heats and the best runner-up.
First Heat:
- Lane 1: UMBI – Umbilicus, Medical Friday Bar
- Lane 2: PF – Politological Association, Political Science Party Committee
- Lane 3: PROFUS – VIA Campus Aarhus C
- Lane 4: SL – Studenterlauget, BSS Student Association
Second Heat:
- Lane 1: ØF – Economics Association
- Lane 2: FUT – Engineering Party Committee
- Lane 3: JUS – Law Society, Law Party Committee
- Lane 4: APO – Apollonia, Dentist School Party Committee
Third Heat:
- Lane 1: HUMBUG – Faculty of Arts Party Committee
- Lane 2: BEERCEPS – Beerceps Maximus, Sports Science Party Committee
- Lane 3: PSYK – Psychology
- Lane 4: SIFFOS – Public Health Science Party Committee
Judges:
- ALKYMIA, Chemistry's party association, and Kurt Strandbar, DMJX's party committee, are this year’s judges.
Last year, Umbilicus claimed victory in the final, with the Political Science Party Committee securing second place, Apollonia taking third, and PROFUS finishing fourth.
