Students are satisfied with their degree programme, they have a tendency to be self-promoting – and more and more experience stress during their everyday studies

How would you assess your well-being as a student at Aarhus University in 2014? 13,647 out of 34,510 full-time students at AU have participated in the Study Environment Survey 2014, making the study the largest ever conducted among students at AU.

By law, university students must be consulted about their experience of the teaching environment every three years. Students at AU therefore had the opportunity to answer a questionnaire in 2007 and 2011. And they were again given the opportunity to indicate their well-being on their degree programme by completing an electronic questionnaire that was sent by email in the spring.

The students were asked about their well-being, contact with fellow students and teachers, organisation of the courses and the social life at the degree programme. As previously, the survey was carried out by the Centre for Teaching and Learning at Aarhus University.
