Technical Sciences appoints new vice-dean for education
Louise Møller Haase from Aalborg University is the new vice-dean for education at Faculty of Technical Sciences. She takes over from Finn Borchsenius, who has held the position for the past eight years.

Civil engineer Louise Møller Haase, who has been the vice-dean for education at Aalborg University's Technical Faculty of IT and Design for the past three years, will become the new vice-dean for education at Aarhus University's Faculty of Technical Sciences from 1 April.
Technical Sciences shared this news in a recent announcement.
Louise Møller Haase was an associate professor at Aalborg University until 2021, before becoming vice-dean. In 2018, she was named Teacher of the Year at Aalborg University.
“I think that our most important product is the young people we send out into society. They represent our biggest impact. And after you've been teaching for many years, there may be a lot you might want to change or try to do differently. As the vice-dean, I had an opportunity to change some of the obstacles to good education,” says Louise Møller Haase in the announcement.
Eskild Holm Nielsen, dean of Tech, explains that Louise Møller Haase will play an important role at Aarhus University in relation to the reforms that universities are facing.
“The first and biggest task now is to implement the Master's reform, including getting the work-integrated Master’s degree programme up and running to help realise the potential of close collaboration between our business community, our education and our research. I look forward to working with Louise on these things because her drive and winning nature brings out the best in the people she works with,” says Eskild Holm Nielsen.
The new vice-dean will take over from Finn Borchsenius, who has been vice-dean for education at Tech for almost eight years. He will assist with the transition until the summer holidays, according to Tech.
