Example of a case dealt with by the Research Practices Committee: Brought his own case before the Research Practices Committee
A researcher contacted the committee for confirmation that the person in question had not done anything wrong in regard to published work.
"If anyone in the environment blames you for something and you perhaps can see the risk of a complaint, it is also possible for you to, as it were, anticipate this by sending the case to the Research Practices Committee yourself. Our assessment in this case was that the researcher did not reference sources in full compliance with what could be expected with reference to responsible conduct of research," says Professor Palle Bo Madsen.
